Per NUFA’s Constitution (Section 3.1), a portion of Members’ association fees goes towards “active membership in the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) and the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (OCUFA)”.   These national and provincial bodies represent the interests of the member associations with their respective levels of government, provide invaluable resources to our Members, along with legal advice, training, and other services.  Check out their websites for current issues and concerns affecting university faculty.

In addition, NUFA is a member of the North Bay and Region District Labour Council.  Check out their website for issues and concerns affecting labour in our area.
