Our Members are what make NUFA a strong association. To function at our best—with strong support for academic values, working conditions and a compassionate community—we all need to contribute. To keep our Association vibrant and responsive, please consider participating in one of the Standing Committees or the NUFA Executive. Note that service on a NUFA committee “counts” towards your requirement for service to the university committee for the purposes of tenure and promotion. As well, keep in touch with us, as opportunities for involvement arise thoughout the year, such as helping out with special events like the Labour Day Picnic or Fair Employment Week, or participating in union–related events around town or across the province, or even the country.
