Education Sector Organizing for Community Outreach – This task force is being organized through the NBDLC and would develop strategies to engage community allies to fight against government cuts to education at all levels. This may involve letter writing, hosting forums, speaking to groups, getting community to come out and support strike days, etc. The first meeting is scheduled for February 12 at 4:30 pm at 222 McIntyre Street East, the United Way Office.
